Your stay
St. Andrews University Accommodations
So I’m sure everyone has questions regarding the Accommodations. Some of you may remember being put up in the dorms at St. Andrews and essentially that is the same, however they have redone the accommodations so that during the summer the dorms become a Bed and Breakfast. We are slated to stay in Agnes Blackadder Hall.

Agnes Blackadder Hall offers 3 star acommodation in modern en-suite bedrooms. It is the perfect base for those wanting to explore St Andrews, play golf on the famous links courses and discover all that the Kingdom of Fife can offer during the summer months.
All the bedrooms at Agnes Blackadder Hall feature the following:
- double bed (4ft 6ins)
- en-suite shower room
- TV
- a desk and study chair
- tea and coffee making facilities
Agnes Blackadder Hall is located just a few hundred yards from the world famous golf courses and less than a 10 minute walk from the historic center of St Andrews. There is ample car-parking spaces for guests so once you arrive you can park your car and then explore the town on foot.
Agnes Blackadder Hall also has a fully licensed bar and a selection of twin rooms which can accommodate two adults and two children; these rooms feature two standard double beds.
The room that is included in the total package is a 1 person occupancy. If you would like to add a second person to stay we can do that and please add Double occupancy to your cart if you would like to add a second person and quantity is per day they will be there the coast is an additional $20.00/day, this will include Bed and Breakfast for the second person. Please be sure to list their name so they too can check in and out of the room.
If you are looking for the family room with two beds, we have 10 of them so please register early. Email Keisa@golfscience.org and we can plan for these rooms. The cost would be an additional $55.00/day for 2 adults Bed and Breakfast included. For an additional person add the above $20/day or for a child $7/day. For example, 2 adults and one child would be the total package plus $62.00/day bed and breakfast for all three.
If you would like to arrive early or stay after the conference, this too is possible only a few more steps are needed. You would register through the University at a leisure rate for those days. Please make sure to tell them you are a part of World Scientific Congress of Golf conference so that they don’t double book you or have you changing rooms.

How to get to the University of St. Andrews?
By train
There is no railway station in St Andrews. However, the nearest railway station to St Andrews is Leuchars only 5 miles from St Andrews, on the main line from London King’s Cross via Edinburgh, or Aberdeen. From Leuchars, there is an excellent taxi service and a frequent local bus service
